Awake ou Conscient au Québec est un film américain réalisé par Joby Harold, sorti en 2007.

Synopsis

Le film met en scène une expérience d'éveil peropératoire (être conscient durant son opération sous anesthésie générale). Le héros entend ce qu'il n'aurait pas imaginé mais ne peut prévenir personne.

  • Le tournage a débuté le 31 octobre 2005 et s'est déroulé à New York.
  • Les actrices Helen Mirren et Sigourney Weaver furent toutes deux pressenties pour le rôle de Lilith Beresford, finalement interprété par Lena Olin. Les deux rôles principaux devaient quant à eux être initialement interprétés par Jared Leto et Kate Bosworth; cette dernière préférant finalement jouer dans Superman Returns (2006).
  • En France, le film ne connut pas d'exploitation en salle et sortit directement en vidéo.
