Thomas Babington Macaulay

Thomas Babington (ou Babbington) Macaulay, né le 25 octobre 1800 et mort le 28 décembre 1859, est un poète, historien et homme politique britannique.

Il a suivi ses études à Trinity College (Cambridge). Il a prononcé divers discours au Parlement britannique concernant le mouvement chartiste, et a tenté de lancer un mouvement de codification afin de réformer le droit en Inde.
