The Lovin' Spoonful est un groupe de musique américain, fondé en 1965 à New York par deux musiciens de Long Island, Steve Boone et Joe Butler bientôt rejoints par John Sebastian et Zal Yanovsky deux « folkeux » de Greenwich village.

Histoire

Le groupe est dissout en 1968, après le départ de Zalman Yanovsky.

Le 6 mars 2000 le groupe est officiellement intronisé au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame[1].
