The King of Fighters '99 est un jeu vidéo de combat développé et édité par SNK sur borne d'arcade et Neo-Geo AES en 1999.

Il s'agit du sixième épisode de la série The King of Fighters.

The King of Fighters '99 introduit le système de « strikers ». Le joueur choisit 4 personnages dont un « striker » qui n'interviendra qu'en soutien de ses 3 coéquipiers.

Réédition

D'abord sortie sur Neo-Geo AES et système d'arcade Neo-Geo MVS, The King of Fighters '99 a ensuite été commercialisé sur Neo-Geo CD en 1999, sur Dreamcast et PlayStation en 2000. La version PlayStation a été réédité sur PlayStation 3 et PlayStation Portable en 2007 au Japon, en téléchargement sur le PlayStation Network.
