Teenager of the Year (24 mai 1994) est le deuxième album solo de Frank Black et est considéré comme l'un de ses meilleurs. A peine sorti des Pixies, groupe qu'il avait fondé 7 ans auparavant, on retrouve encore dans cet album toute l'énergie et le style du quatuor de Boston.
Des titres comme Freedom Rock, Headache ou Fiddle Riddle restent encore aujourd'hui parmi les meilleurs qu'il ait écrit.
