Such A Noise est un groupe de Blues rock belge des années '90. Le groupe s'est reformé en 2007.
Biographie
C'est en 1989 que Such A Noise, groupe originaire de Liège (Belgique), prend définitivement forme quand Rudy Lenners, ancien batteur de Scorpions, rejoint Jean-Pierre Cocco, Jean-Pierre Froidebise et Alain Pire.
Le groupe devient rapidement populaire lorsque, en compagnie d'Uli Jon Roth, ancien compagnon de Rudy Lenners dans Scorpions, il entreprend une série de concerts en hommage à Jimi Hendrix à l'occasion du vingtième anniversaire de sa mort.
Clairement orienté Blues rock, Such A Noise sort son premier EP 6 titres en 1991.
A la sortie du second album Raising the Roof le groupe entame une tournée européenne qui le verra notamment jouer en support de Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel ou encore Alvin Lee.
En 1995, quelques mois après la sortie du troisième album Be a Devil, Alain Pire quitte le groupe. Il est remplacé par Thierry Limelette. En 1996 sort le quatrième album, Such A Noise.
En 1998 le groupe se sépare.
Such A Noise s'est reformé en 2007 dans sa formation originale avec à la clé la sortie d'une compilation Get Nacked contenant un titre inédit Like a Child .
