Le S.C.A.N. 20 est un hydravion nonomoteur français réalisé par la société Société de Construction AéroNavale de Port-Neuf à La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), créée par Léon Douzille. Le prototype a été construit dans le secret en 1941. Il a été caché jusqu'à la libération de la France et en 1945 a été expédié par avion.
Historique
Le S.C.A.N. 20 a été conçu pour satisfaire à une exigence de l'Armée de l'Air pour un petit hydravion d'entrainement (formation). C'était un hydravion monoplan à ailes hautes avec des flotteurs montés comme supports sous chaque aile.
Construit dans le secret pendant 1941, il a été emmené, vers la fin la libération de la France, en octobre 1945. Une commande de 30 avions a été demandé pour la Marine française, mais seulement 23 ont été livrés.
