Ruf est un marque allemande liée à l'automobile
Elle a vu le jour lorsque le père d'Alois Ruf créa Auto Ruf, une société de réparation de voitures. Dans les années 1970, Ruf commença à préparer les Porsche 911 et mit au point le prototype BTR sur la base d'une 911 Turbo en 1977. Cette voiture était peinte dans un vert olive assez triste, d'où son nom Otan...
En 1981, Ruf commença à produire ses propres voitures. Les performances des voitures Ruf sont réputées dans le monde entier et Porsche a fourni un service de conseil pour la marque Ruf.
