Le terme rhabdite peut représenter différents concepts :
- En biologie, les rhabdites sont des cellules spécifiques des rhabditophores ou plathelminthes. Elles ont la forme de petits bâtonnets dans d'autres cellules elles-mêmes cylindriques. Se retrouvant à la surface de l'animal de la même manière qu'un mucus, ells permettent de lutter contre la dessication des planaires qui s'avancent sur le milieu terrestre. Cette couche de cellules permet à l'animal de se protéger contre les microbes et certains prédateurs et peut également servir à attraper de petites proies. Les rhabdites augmentent leur volume au contact de l'eau.
