Les Portland Beavers sont une équipe de ligue mineure de baseball basée à Portland dans l'Oregon. Affiliés depuis 2001 à la formation de MLB des San Diego Padres, les Beavers jouent au niveau Triple-A en Pacific Coast League. La franchise actuelle est installée à Portland depuis 2001 suite au houleux déménagement des Albuquerque Dukes. Les Beavers évoluent depuis 2001 au PGE Park (19 566 places).

Histoire

Plusieurs formations ont porté le nom de Portland Beavers en Pacific Coast League (Portland Beavers (1903-1973) et Portland Beavers (1978-1993)) avant le déménagement des Albuquerque Dukes à Portland en 2001. Le retour d'une formation Triple-A à Portland fait suite à l'échange de filiales opéré entre les Los Angeles Dodgers et les San Diego Padres. La rénovation en 2000 du Civic Stadium de Portland, rebaptisé PGE Stadium, fut déterminant dans ce choix.

Le palmarès des Beavers depuis 2001 est assez maigre : un titre de champion de division en 2004.

En 2007, le propriétaire de la franchise a évoqué un changement de nom afin de se démarquer des Oregon State Beavers, club omnisports de l'Université d'État de l'Oregon.
