Peter, Paul and Mary
Peter, Paul and Mary est un groupe américain de musique folk. Le groupe musical, guitare et voix, était connu dans les années 1960-1970, dans la lignée de Pete Seeger, Graeme Allwright, Leonard Cohen.
Le trio est composé de Peter Yarrow, Noel "Paul" Stookey et Mary Travers.
Il s'est rendu célèbre, notamment en reprenant des chansons de Bob Dylan, telles que Blowin' in the Wind, et le deserteur de Boris Vian. Ils sont aussi les interprètes de la célèbre chanson Puff, the Magic Dragon.
Mary Travers est décédée le 16 septembre 2009 des suites d'une leucémie, à l'âge de 72 ans. Elle avait donné son dernier concert avec Peter et Paul le 20 mai 2009 à New Brunswick, N.J. [1]
