Probot (contraction de probe et robot) est un projet secondaire de heavy metal du guitariste et chanteur des Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl (ex-batteur de Nirvana).

Sur cet album éponyme, Grohl a invité des chanteurs de metal à interpréter chacun une chanson. Grohl a composé et écrit l'ensemble des titres et a enregistré lui-même la quasi-totalité des instruments. À ses côtés, on trouve entre autres Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Max Cavalera (Soulfly) et King Diamond (Mercyful Fate).
