Operator est une extension pour le navigateur web Firefox. Il parse et agit sur un bon nombre de microformats et permet aussi de les valider.
Il supporte nativement plusieurs microformats :
et il est extensible, dans le sens où les utilisateurs peuvent y rajouter de nouvelles actions pour les microformats inclus, ou y spécifier de la reconnaissance d'autres microformats. Operator a été écrit par Mike Kaply d'IBM, et formera la base pour un support natif des microformats dans Firefox 3.
