Geo (microformat)

Geo est un microformat utilisé pour exprimer les coordonnées géographiques (latitude, longitude) du système géodésique WGS84 dans le format XHTML.

Geo permet l'utilisation des outils d'analyse (par exemple, d'autres sites Web ou de l'extension Firefox Operator) pour extraire les lieux, et de les afficher en utilisant un autre site Web ou un outil de cartographie, ou de les charger dans un récepteur GPS, de les indexer, de les agréger ou de les convertir en un autre format.
