Les Americans de New York sont une ancienne équipe professionnelle de hockey sur glace de la Ligue nationale de hockey qui évoluait à New York.
Histoire
L'équipe a déménagé de Hamilton en 1925 après avoir été connue sous les noms successifs de Bulldogs de Québec de la ville de Québec puis Tigers de Hamilton. Ils ont joué sous le nom des Americans de New York de 1924 à 1941, mais au cours de leur dernière saison 1941-42 ils évoluèrent sous le nom d'Americans de Brooklyn. Ils n'ont jamais joué à Brooklyn, mais ce nom fut choisi pour les différencier des Rangers de New York. L'idée n'a pas été concluante et l'équipe s'est dissoute en 1942.
