Milk Inc., Milk Incorporated est un groupe Techno/dance d'origine belge composé des producteurs Regi Penxten , Filip Vandueren et de la chanteuse Linda Mertens . Le groupe est connu pour ses hits internationaux comme Walk on Water , In My Eyes et I Don't Care en duo avec Silvy De Bie du groupe Sylver mais également La Vache et plus récemment Run extrait de l'album Supersized ou encore le tube Sunrise. Supersized est également le nom du concert exceptionnel donné le 30 septembre 2006 au Sportpaleis à Anvers pour leur 10ème anniversaire. Une seconde édition " Supersized II " a été donnée les 28 , 29 et 30 septembre 2007 , également au Sportpaleis à Anvers. Après un Best-Of sous le label EMI,Milk Inc. signa avec ARS Entertainment filiale d'Universal pour les prochains singles et albums. Le dernier album ( qui a donné son nom au concert ) s'intitule "Forever" , on y retrouve les titres "Sunrise","Tonight","Forever","Guilty"....

Le Supersized III devenu Forever sera de nouveau un évènement incontournable pour les amateurs de Milk Inc. car il y a six dates programmées entre le 26 septembre 2008 et le 18 octobre 2008 au Sportpaleis D'Anvers ; il sera indiscutablement le concert de l´année 2008. Un dvd du concert "Forever" est disponible depuis mi-novembre !!!

En 2009, 2 dates de concerts sont déjà mises en place le 25 et 26 septembre 2009 toujours au Sportpaleis d'Anvers.

Historique

Milk Inc. nait en 1996 comme projet studio qui sortira rapidement un premier opus sous un label underground. Un an plus tard vient le single La Vache, qui connaîtra principalement un succès en France et au Royaume-Uni.

  • Nikkie van Lierop (alias Jade 4 U): 1996-1997 : Nikkie vient du groupe Praga Khan, celle-ci participa au titre "La Vache",après le succès du titre a eu lieu une tournée en France et en Corse, puis Nikkie quitta le groupe pour se concentrer sur Praga Khan.
  • Sofie Winters: 1997-1998 : Sofie Winters remplaça Nikkie Van Lierop après son départ, ainsi Sofie enregistra la chanson "Free Your Mind" puis à son tour elle quitta le groupe.
  • Ann Vervoort: 1998-2000 : Ann Vervoot, avant Milk Inc,était une danseuse,elle remplaça dont Sofie Winters,de nombreuses rumeurs concernant Milk Inc. et la chanteuse Ann Vervoot ont émergées notamment sur le fait que ce n'est pas Ann qui chantait et notamment en Live, mais en réalité il s'agit de la chanteuse Karine Bolaerts. Mi-Septembre 2000, Ann Vervoot décida de quitter le groupe pour fonder sa maison de disque "Beni Musa Records" avec son ami à Ibiza.
  • Linda Mertens: 2000-maintenant : Linda Mertens née le 20 juillet 1978, faisait des études de coiffure puis elle a commencé dans la musique avec un groupe "Secret Fantasy". Elle intégra le groupe Milk Inc en demandant à Regi si ils avaient besoin d'une chanteuse et après des auditions elle fut selectionée. Le début d'une nouvelle ère pour le groupe, Linda fut présentée au public lors d'un show "Hitkracht" avec le titre "Land Of The Living".Depuis Linda s'est complètement intégrée au groupe Milk Inc et elle est un membre indispensable du groupe, de plus elle a prouvé de nombreuses fois qu'elle a une capacité vocale remarquable notamment lors des concerts Supersized I & II.

Ce nouvel opus garde bien l'esprit tant apprécié que les fans du groupe adorent, il reprend donc certains titres déjà connus tel que whisper mais également de nouveaux très entraînants tels que no angel ou secret.
