Marâthî
La marâthî (ou marathi ou encore marathe; nom local : marāṭhī / मराठी) est une langue indienne appartenant à la branche indo-iranienne de la famille des langues indo-européennes. Elle est parlée par environ soixante-dix millions de locuteurs dans l’ouest et au centre de l’Inde (à l’est de Bombay), notamment au Maharashtra, dont elle est la langue régionale officielle. Elle s'écrit avec la devanāgarī. Elle fait partie des langues constitutionnelles de l’Union indienne.
