Mario Luzi

Mario Luzi, né le 20 octobre 1914 à Florence où il est mort le 28 février 2005, est un écrivain italien, membre des Giubbe Rosse.

Avec Giorgio Caproni, Vittorio Sereni, Attilio Bertolucci et Piero Bigongiari, Mario Luzi appartient à ce que l'on a appelé la « troisième génération » poétique italienne, qui regroupe des écrivains nés dans les années qui précèdent immédiatement la Première Guerre mondiale.

Profondément religieux, il a composé une poésie que l'on pourrait qualifier de poésie chrétienne.
