Manolo Blahnik
Manolo Blahnik (né le 27 novembre 1942) est un styliste espagnol et une marque de luxe, une des plus importantes dans les chaussures pour femmes.
Né à Santa Cruz de La Palma dans les Îles Canaries d'un père tchèque et d'une mère espagnole, Blahnik est élevé dans une plantation de bananes. Il étudie à l'Université de Genève en littérature en 1965 et part étudier l'art à Paris. Il arrive ensuite à Londres en 1970 et ouvre sa première boutique en 1973 en achetant une boutique préexistante nommée Zapata à Chelsea.
Ses chaussures, maintenant vendues dans des boutiques portant le nom du styliste, se vendent de 500 à 2500 dollars. Elles sont très souvent pourvues de talon aiguille mesurant 10 cm et ornées de perles et de rubans. La série Sex and the City fait souvent mention de ces chaussures.
