Le Magisterium est l'Autorité suprême dans la trilogie de Phillip Pullman, A la croisée des mondes. C'est une organistation qui dirige le monde de Lyra Belacqua, et dont Marisa Coulter fait partie en tant que membre important.
Dans Les Royaumes du Nord, le Magisterium fait enlever des enfants au profit de Bolvangar, une station expérimentale qui consiste à arracher les Daemons des victimes et dont Marisa Coulter est le chef suprême. (nm: Conseil d'Oblation)
L'Aléthiomètre est un objet convoité par le Magisterium, le seul existant encore étant en possession de la jeune Lyra Belacqua. Vers la fin de la trilogie, l'objectif principal de cette organisation est de tuer Lyra, qu'ils considèrent comme un danger pour l'Univers tout entier.
