Anna Swanwick, née à Liverpool en 1813, et décédée en 1899, est un auteur et une féministe anglaise.
Elle étudia l'allemand, le grec et l'hébreu à Berlin, puis les mathématiques après s'être installée à Londres.
Elle participa à la fondation du Girton College de Cambridge.
Parallèlement à ses travaux de traductrice (notamment des œuvres de Goethe et Schiller), elle publia de nombreux livres de sa plume.
