Biographie
Née de Melvin "Ted" Webb (1906-1959) et de Clara Marie (Ramey) Webb (1912-1981), et dont le prénom fut choisi en l'honneur de Loretta Young, Loretta Webb était la seconde de huit enfants; sa plus jeune sœur était la chanteuse de country Crystal Gayle. Lynn a grandi à Butcher's Holler, dans le Kentucky. Son grand-père était Nathaniel Ramey. Elle a été introduit dans le Country Music Hall of Fame. En 2004 elle sort son album Van Lear Rose produit par Jack White.
