En 1969, Deep Purple avait joué au Royal Albert Hall le Concerto Pour Groupe Et Orchestre composé par son claviériste Jon Lord. 30 ans après cet évènement dûment critiqué, les partitions perdues sont reconstituées par les soins d'un universitaire à partir des différents enregistrement existants, le groupe décide donc de fêter ça par deux concerts aux sets très spéciaux.
