Billings Learned Hand (né le 27 janvier 1872 à Albany (New York) et mort le 18 août 1961 (à 89 ans) à New York), habituellement simplement nommé Learned Hand, était un célèbre juge américain et un défenseur actif de la liberté d'expression. On se souvient de lui surtout pour avoir appliqué un raisonnement économique à la Tort Law (loi américaine équivalent au délit civil). Hand est considéré comme l'un des juristes américain les plus influents du vingtième siècle, bien que n'ayant pas servi à la Cour suprême.
Il servit à la Cour d'appel du deuxième circuit, siégeant à New York, de 1924 à 1951.
