Laura Kasischke (née en 1961) est une écrivaine et poétesse américaine, ayant reçu des prix de poésie et de bons échos pour ses romans.
Son roman La Vie devant ses yeux (The Life Before Her Eyes) est à l'origine du film éponyme réalisé par Vadim Perelman, avec Uma Thurman et Evan Rachel Wood sorti en 2008. Elle est également professeur d'anglais dans l'Université du Michigan, à Ann Arbor.
