Le Baiser de la femme araignée (Beijo da mulher aranha) est un film brésilien de Hector Babenco d'après le roman de Manuel Puig, sorti en salles en 1985 et distribué par les Acacias Films.
Argument
Huis clos dans une cellule dans le contexte d’une dictature a Buenos Aires, en Argentine. Molina, un étalagiste arrêté pour détournement de mineurs, évoque chaque soir de vieux films romantiques à son compagnon d'infortune, Valentin, un prisonnier politique. Ils se lient d'amitié et entrent progressivement dans cet univers fantasmagorique.

Le Baiser de la femme araignée vaut à William Hurt l'Oscar du meilleur acteur et le prix d'interprétation masculine au Festival de Cannes 1985.
Il y a une adaptation de la pièce à Broadway, en 1994, dans laquelle joue Vanessa Williams.
