Kiosk est un cadre d'applications qui permet de limiter et d’encadrer les possibilités offertes par l’environnement KDE.
Il a été conçu à l’origine pour les bornes internet (en anglais, Internet kiosks, d’où le nom). Ces bornes nécessitent la mise en place d’un environnement logiciel restreint aux fonctions essentielles afin d’empêcher les utilisateurs de faire quoi que ce soit d’indésirable ou de dangereux. Le cadre d'applications Kiosk s’avère également utile au sein de réseaux d’entreprises où il offre la possibilité de restreindre les utilisateurs aux seuls logiciels qu’ils sont supposés utiliser.
