Killah Priest, né Walter Reed le 16 août 1970, est un rappeur américain originaire de Brooklyn, New York.

Sa carrière débute en 1994 lors d'apparitions sur des albums solo des membres du Wu-Tang Clan tel que Liquid Swords de GZA ou Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version d' Ol' Dirty Bastard.

Il continue plus indépendamment en formant en 1995 un groupe appelé Sunz of Man avec Hell Razah, 60 Second Assassin, Prodigal Sunn.

Son premier album solo Heavy Mental produit en grande partie par RZA arrive sur le label Geffen Records en 1998. C'est a cette même période que sort The Last Shall Be First en collaboration avec ses confrères de Sunz of Man. Les deux albums sont fortement imprégnés d'influences religieuses, le titre de l'album des Sunz of Man étant directement tiré d'un texte de la Bible.

Début 1999 un deuxième album avec les Sunz of Man The First Testament sort alors que son deuxième album solo View from Massada n'apparaîtra que plus d'un an plus tard en mai 2000. Les trois années suivantes s'enchainent plusieurs albums solo Priesthood (2001), Black August (2003) et Black August Revisited (2003).

C'est au cours de cette même année 2003 que nait du travail avec Ras Kass, Canibus et Kurupt le groupe The Horsemen. Le seul album de cette formation aura pour nom The Horsemen Project.

En 2005, Priest sort The Black Market Militia accompagné de Tragedy Khadafi, Hell Razah et Timbo King.

Deux albums solo viennent ensuite The Offering au cours de l'été 2007 et Behind the Stained Glass en mai 2008.

Puis deux nouveaux albums en 2009 avec The Exorcist et Elizabeth et enfin The 3 Day Theory en 2010.
