Kaṭha Upaniṣad ou Kaṭhopaniṣad[1] est l'une des plus anciennes Upaniṣad majeures et appartient au groupe des Upaniṣad principales appelées Mukhya Upaniṣad. Celle-ci est associée au Krishna Yajur-Veda (noir). Le texte qui comprend deux sections, trois lianes (valli) a été commentée par Ādi Śaṅkara.
