Le Journal of the American Medical Association ou JAMA est une revue médicale internationale existant depuis 1883 et publiée deux fois par mois par l’American Medical Association. JAMA est la revue médicale la plus diffusée dans le monde et l’une des plus influentes avec un facteur d’impact de 23.2 en 2005[1], quatrième après le New England Journal of Medicine (44.0), Nature Medicine (28.9) et The Lancet (23.4)[2].
