Le JF-17 Thunder est un avion à réaction de combat sino-pakistanais, conçu par l' industrie de l'armement de la République populaire de Chine et cofinancé par le Pakistan qui le produit en partenariat avec les chinois.
Il est aussi appelé FC-1 pour sa version chinoise et JF-17 pour Islamabad.
C'est un avion mono-réacteur et peu coûteux qui pourrait s'avérer abordable pour les pays en développement et comme un succès pour la Chine et AVIC sur ces marchés.
