Alpha Indi
Alpha Indi (α Ind / α Indi) est l'étoile la plus brillante de la constellation de l'Indien. Elle était appelée La Perse, un nom donné par des missionnaires jésuites durant la fin du XVIIe siècle. Elle est transcrite dans l'astérisme chinois Pe Sze （波斯）. Elle se retrouve - mal traduite - dans le nom latin de la constellation Indus.
Alpha Indi est une étoile géante orange de type K0 dans un système d'étoiles multiples. Elle est située à environ 100 années-lumière de la Terre.
