Jaster Mereel est un personnage de la saga Star Wars non vu dans les films.
C'est un mandalorien. Il adopte un orphelin, un certain Jango Fett et lui apprend le maniement des armes. Lors d'une terrible bataille, il se fait tuer par la trahison de Montross, l'un de ses anciens partisans. Après la bataille, Jango garde le vaisseau de son père adoptif qu'il doit abandonner sur l'astéroïde-prison Oovo 4.
