All by Myself

All by Myself est une chanson écrite et interprétée par Eric Carmen en 1975. Il emprunte librement au concerto pour piano n° 2 de Rachmaninov, une pièce que Carmen croyait être dans le domaine public. La chanson a atteint le numéro 2 dans le Billboard Hot 100. Elle a été reprise par de nombreux artistes, dont notamment Sheryl Crow et Céline Dion.

Une version de All by Myself interprétée par Céline Dion se trouve sur l'album Falling into You. Il sera lancé comme troisième extrait en Amérique le 13 mars 1997, et comme quatrième extrait en Europe le 7 octobre 1996 et en Australie le 13 janvier 1997.

Trois vidéoclip furent lancés: le premier fut lancée en octobre 1996 contenant des scènes des sessions photos de la pochette de Falling into You et lors de son concert à Paris, la seconde version qui a été réalisé pour le Royaume-Uni contient les scènes de ses spectacles et de sa vie avec René Angelil et la dernière est son concert donnée à Montréal en décembre 1996 qui sera diffusé en Amérique en mars 1997.

Une version espagnole de All by Myself a été lancé en Amérique latine.

Succès

Aux États-Unis, la chanson débute en 7e position. Il s'agit de sa première chanson à débuter aussi haut. Il atteint la semaine suivante la 4e position. Au Royaume-Uni, la chanson débute en 6e position. Il s'agit de son 4e plus gros début dans ce pays-là. Il passe 16 semaines dans les charts. En Australie, il débute en 92e position et sort des palmarès la semaine suivante. Il ré-entre la semaine suivante en 47e position et sera 2 semaines après en 38e position. La chanson sera également au top 10 dans les pays suivants: France, Belgique et Irlande.
