Into the Sun est un film d'action américain (2005), dont Steven Seagal est à la fois scénariste et acteur principal.
Synopsis
Après l'assassinat du gouverneur de Tokyo par des membres des Yakuzas, le chef du bureau de la CIA à Tokyo (William Atherton) prend contact avec un agent (Steven Seagal) qui a été élevé au Japon et entraîné par un ancien Yakuza. Grâce à son ancien réseau, il s'aperçoit rapidement qu'une guerre couve entre l'ancienne garde Yakuza et un nouveau leader ambitieux (Takao Osawa), qui entretient des relations avec la mafia chinoise. Combattant aux côtés des loyalistes, tuant ou abandonnant les blessés à leur sort, Seagal se trace une voie jusqu'aux plus influents membres du gang.

Into the Sun contient plusieurs scènes violentes aux touches très gores (scènes de sabres), des nus et de vagues situations sexuelles. Le film contient peu de scènes de combat en raison de l'âge maintenant avancé de l'acteur/scenariste. Le scénario, inconsistant et bati sur un schéma très courant des films d'action peut être facilement anticipé. Enfin, près de la moitié du film est joué en japonais non sous-titré.
