Inge Ier de Norvège
Inge Ier Krokrygg (le Bossu) (1135-1161) roi de Norvège de 1136 à 1161
Inge Ier était le fils d'Harald IV de Norvège et de son épouse de la princesse suédoise Ingrid Rögnvaldsdotter. Il était le seul enfant légitime du roi.
Proclamé roi à un an avec son demi frère aîné Sigurd II de Norvège après le meurtre de leur père, il régna sous le contrôle des nobles. En 1142, les deux jeunes rois durent s'adjoindre deux autres fils illégitimes de Harald IV de Norvège: Eystein II de Norvège et Magnus Haraldsson soutenus par des partis de nobles.
Les partisans d'Inge se recrutaient dans le haute aristocratie et dans l'église. Après la mort au combat de son frère Sigurd II en 1155, il dut faire face à son neveu Håkon II de Norvège. Grégorius Dagsson qui soutenait le roi Inge Ier battit à Konungahella en 1158 et 1159 le nouveau prétendant, mais il fut tué le 7 janvier 1161.
Le roi Inge périt lui-même dans un combat contre son neveu livré sur la glace près d'Oslo le 4 février 1161. Ses partisans refusèrent de reconnaître Håkon II de Norvège et soutinrent la candidature de Magnus Erlingsson. Les sagas royales louent la prudence d'Inge ainsi que son loyal et noble caractère.
Inge Ier mourut célibataire et sans descendance pourtant un jeune moine Jon surnommé Kuvlung se proclama son fils en 1185. Il tint le Viken jusqu'en 1188 date à laquelle il fut tué par les partisans de Sverre de Norvège.
