IRALCO, ou Irish Aluminium Company,[1] est situé près de la ville de Collinstown, dans le comté de Westmeath. La société, initialement créée en 1964, est parmi les plus anciens industriels établis en Irlande. Elle produit des composants pour constructeurs automobiles (Audi, BMW, Ford, Seat, Volvo, Volkswagen et Jaguar). Actuellement, elle emploie quelque 420 salariés, contre plus de 900 personnes à son apogée.
