Alexis Arguello
Alexis Arguello, né le 19 avril 1952 à Managua et mort le 1er juillet 2009 à Managua, est un boxeur nicaraguayen, champion du monde dans 3 catégories différentes : poids plumes WBA (de 1974 à 1976), super plumes WBC (de 1978 à 1980) et poids légers WBC (de 1981 à 1983).
Il est élu maire de Managua sur une liste du Front Sandiniste de Libération Nationale (FSLN) en 2008.
Il est retrouvé mort le 1er juillet 2009 d'une balle dans la poitrine.
