Sisimiut
Sisimiut (Holsteinsborg en danois) est une ville du sud-ouest du Groenland, dans la municipalité de Qeqqata. C'est la seconde ville du Groenland avec 5 965 habitants en 2007.
Elle se trouve à environ 75 km au nord du cercle polaire actique. C'est le port libre de glace toute l'année le plus au nord du Groenland.
Avant le 31 décembre 2008, la ville était le siège de la municipalité de Sisimiut, subdivision du comté de Kitaa. La municipalité incluait également les villages et campements de Itilleq, Sarfannguaq et Kangerlussuaq, où se trouve le plus important aéroport du Groenland. Depuis le 1er janvier 2009, la municipalité de Sisimiut a fusionné au sein de la municipalité de Qeqqata.
Sport
Il existe un club de football à Sisimut, le SAK.
