Henry Steagall
Henry Bascom Steagall (1873-1943) est un représentant des États-Unis venant d'Alabama. Il donna son nom au Glass-Steagall Act de 1933, et au Wagner-Steagall Act de 1937 qui aboutit sur la création de l'agence gouvernementale nommée l'United States Housing Authority.
Né à Clopton en Alabama né le 19 mai 1873, il a étudié le droit et est devenu un membre du parti démocrate à la Chambre des représentants d'Alabama en 1906, puis il est devenu représentant Chambre des représentants des États-Unis pour le 3e district d'Alabama. Il meurt le 22 novembre 1943 alors qu'il est encore en fonction.
