Hellmuth Wolff, né à Zurich en Suisse le 3 septembre 1937, est un facteur d'orgue situé à Laval, au Québec.
Notes biographiques
Après un apprentissage de la facture d'orgue chez Metzler en Suisse, puis en Hollande, en Autriche chez Rieger et aux États-Unis avec Charles Fisk, il s'installe au Québec en 1963 et travaille quelques années pour la maison Casavant Frères à Saint-Hyacinthe, avant de fonder en 1968 l’atelier Wolff & Associés.
Plus de 50 instruments ont été fabriqués et sont installés au Canada et aux États-Unis dans plusieurs universités, églises et résidences privées.
Pionnier du retour de la grande tradition baroque allemande avec des instruments à traction mécanique, il signe également des orgues de facture française classique et contemporaine.
