- Le groupe opère un virage blues / cadien très important sur ce disque. L'influence hard-rock se fait moins sentir. On note l'apparition de cuivres.
- Little Richard fait une apparition remarquée dans le clip de Shelter Me.
- La face B du single Heartbreak Station est une reprise du célèbre Move Over de Janis Joplin, enregistré en 1989 pour la compilation Stairway To Heaven / Make A Difference Foundation. Le Cd single picture-disc de Shelter Me contenait quant à lui une reprise de Lynyrd Skynyrd.
