Health On the Net Foundation (HON) est une fondation suisse non gouvernementale et à but non lucratif, installée à Genève.
Histoire
La fondation est créée suite à une conférence internationale intitulée "The Use of The Internet and World-Wide Web for Telematics in Healthcare" qui se tient les 7 et 8 septembre 1995 à Genève, dans le but principal d'aider les législateurs et les praticiens médicaux à trouver en ligne sur le Web des informations utiles et justes.
En 2007, la fondation a établi un partenariat avec la Haute Autorité de santé (HAS) afin d'établir le HONcode, une charte dont le but est de certifier certains sites Web médicaux et de santé.
