Gary Lightbody (né à Belfast en 1976) est le leader du groupe de rock indépendant Snow Patrol, fondé en 1998. Bien que natif d'Irlande du Nord, il vit aujourd'hui en Écosse. Il est le compositeur des chansons de son groupe, ainsi que son chanteur et guitariste.
Il est aussi un des membres et des fondateurs du "supergroupe" écossais The Reindeer Section, et aussi de Tired pony.
