Les Amis de la Terre
Les Amis de la Terre (en anglais Friends of the Earth) est une organisation non gouvernementale (ONG) de protection de l'Homme et de l'environnement créée en 1969.
Association à but non lucratif se déclarant indépendante de tout pouvoir politique ou religieux, elle a participé à la fondation du mouvement écologiste en France, et à la formation du premier réseau écologiste mondial, Friends of the Earth International, présent dans 70 pays avec 2 millions de membres.
Les Amis de la Terre mènent des actions de plaidoyer auprès des décideurs économiques et politiques et sensibilisent le grand public sur les problématiques environnementales telles que la responsabilité des acteurs économiques, les changements climatiques, la protection des forêts tropicales, l'agriculture, etc. L'association s'appuie pour cela sur un réseau de 29 groupes locaux[1].
