Free Digital Money ou FreeDMoney est un projet open source qui a pour but la stimulation et la promotion d'idées relatives à la monnaie électronique. Il est sous licence Apache V2.0 et est géré par Rachel Willmer[1] en C++ et en Python. Annoncé le 16 octobre 2006, il offre pour l'instant la possibilité de créer des devises via une banque virtuelle Open Source en AJAX[2]. Selon l'observateur DigitalCurrency.info qui fournit des informations sur la monnaie électronique, le projet utilise le P2P pour transférer des valeurs[3].
