Foll ou foy n’a pas d’écriture homologué. Pourtant il est librement et couramment utilisé par tous les habitants de Perpignan. C’est un adjectif du langage familier. Il signifie quelque chose de positif. Il est le synonyme de bien, excellent, chouette, rigolo, sympathique...
Il se prononce (fo i e) très vite. En catalan cela veut dire petit lutin.
