Farrokhi Yazdi (en persan : فرخی یزدی)
Né à Yazd en 1877, Mirzâ Mohammad Farrokhi Yazdi était le poète, le politicien et le journaliste de l'ère de Réza Shah Pahlavi (1925-1941). A l'âge de 16 ans, il avait déjà commencé à écrire la poésie et est devenu actif pendant la Révolution Constitutionnelle de l'Iran. Il été emprisonné en raison de ses écrits en opposition au l'infâme traité de 1919. En 1939, il a été arrêté, condamné à la prison de Qasr de Téhéran, et exécuté par injection d'air.
