Fanfare Ciocarlia
La Fanfare Ciocarlia (Alouette en roumain) est une fanfare roumaine composé de douze musiciens. En octobre 1996, deux Allemands, Helmut Neumann et Henry Ernst, découvre une fanfare dans un village de Roumanie : Zece Prajini. Celle-ci ne jouait alors que pour les mariages et autres baptêmes. Ils sélectionnent les meilleurs éléments pour une tournée en Allemagne. La tournée est un succès et la spirale de la gloire est lancée. La fanfare désormais dénommée Ciocarlia signe chez le label berlinois Piranha.
Le répertoire formé de traditionnels roumains aux rythmiques endiablées autant que de classiques comme Caravan de Duke Ellington ou le thème de James Bond permettent aux nombreux cuivres d'exprimer pleinement leur puissance.
