Eric Roger Patrick Miller est né le 23 septembre 1975 à Dublin (Irlande). C’est un joueur de rugby à XV, qui joue avec l'équipe d'Irlande depuis 1997, évoluant au poste de troisième ligne (1,90 m et 108 kg).

En club
Il a joué avec la province du Leinster en Coupe d'Europe en 2005-2006 et dans la Ligue Celtique.
En équipe nationale
Il a eu sa première cape internationale le 4 janvier 1997, à l’occasion d’un match contre l'équipe d'Italie.
Il participe au Tournoi des cinq/six nations depuis 1997.
Miller a disputé les coupes du monde 1999 (3 matchs disputés) et coupes du monde 2003 (4 matchs joués).
Miller a aussi joué avec les Lions britanniques en 1997.
